Ellen Adarna shared a fiery statement about wanting to end corruption
Cebuana celebrity Ellen Adarna talked about cutting ties with family and friends who are corrupt.
Ellen had this fiery statement after the drastic effect of Typhoon Tino, especially in her home province, Cebu. She is known for being vocal and having no filter when it comes to saying her thoughts, her views, and opinions about certain things and issues.
In a recent Instagram Story that she shared, Ellen featured a post from Business Mirror. The post featured a photo of rescuers carrying the lifeless body of an infant who had passed away because of Typhoon Tino.

“Infant Killer. Typhoon Tino Leaves Tragedy: 42 of 52 Dead Are Infants, 13 Still Missing,” the post stated.
In the caption of her post, Ellen Adarna asked a very striking question to those who have friends and family who are corrupt, because she can relate to this.
“Since I have a handful of friends/family who are associated with corrupt politicians and contractors…how many of us still turn a blind eye to corruption because it’s “family” or “friends?” Ellen asked.
She also asked if these people have already taken a stand and cut ties with “corrupt” people, or just pretended that there was nothing wrong, and still laughing with them, mingling with them, and even attending parties when invited by the “corrupt” people.

The Cebuana celebrity also stressed that she has been seeing a lot of posts on social media because Filipinos are already upset and want that people involved should be held accountable. However, Ellen said that when people would get invited to the “extravagant million-peso parties” of these corrupt individuals, they would still show up.
“Cebu is so small we know who the corrupt ones are. Cut ties with these mfs!!!!!” the Cebuana celebrity stressed.
Below this fiery statement, Ellen Adarna shared the reality she witnessed, or probably she experienced. She said that going against “corrupt” individuals would mean that businesses would suffer. Suddenly, it would not be easy to get permits, and documents would be questioned unnecessarily.
