Manny Pacquiao Claims His Prayers Exposed the Nation’s Corrupt Officials

Manny Pacquiao Speaks Up Again as Massive Government Anomalies Emerge

MANNY PACQUIAO – Former senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is once again calling out corruption in the government, saying that his prayers for the truth to come out are finally being answered.

Manny Pacquiao has once again spoken about the persistent issue of corruption in the Philippine government, recalling how he had long cautioned the public about large-scale irregularities even before the latest controversies emerged.

Pacquiao shared that despite his earlier attempts to expose corrupt practices, many people doubted his claims. Instead of being supported, he said he became a target of criticism on social media for revealing what he knew about alleged misconduct and embezzlement in various government offices.

During an interview with BANDERA and several members of the entertainment press at the launch of his latest business venture, Manny Pay, a new online payment platform, the former senator was asked to comment on the current controversy involving the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and its alleged irregular flood control projects.

Reports have implicated some lawmakers and government contractors in the supposed scam, which allegedly involved millions of pesos in public funds.

“Sinabi ko na naman yan noon. Noong araw ako nagsisigaw sa taong bayan. Sinasabi ko palagi na grabe ang korapsyon, times two, times three. May naniwala ba sa akin?” Pacquiao said, expressing his disappointment that his warnings had fallen on deaf ears.

He further explained how he chose to respond to the criticism. “Actually, na-bash pa nga ako nu’ng nag-comment ako na grabe ang korakpsyon. Wala akong nagawa. Ang ginawa ko, nag-pray ako sa Panginoon, na lalabas lahat ng katotohanan, lalabas lahat ng baho ng magnanakaw.”

Pacquiao added that he believes his prayers have been answered, as more corruption scandals are being uncovered. “Hayun, naglabasan nga ang lahat. Walang usok na…lahat yan, lahat tayo ay haharap sa government, sa taong bayan, at higit sa lahat haharap tayo sa Panginoon,” he said.

His statements came as calls for government transparency and accountability grew louder following the alleged DPWH corruption case. Remaining steadfast in his moral stance, Pacquiao continues to highlight the importance of honesty and faith, insisting that true justice will ultimately prevail—both in the eyes of the people and before God.
