Just recently, it was announced that Jessa Zaragoza will release a new song, based on the article in The Philippine Star. Following her hits that became theme songs of “camp sawi,” the singer-actress is releasing another heartbreaking song.

Jessa will deliver another emotionally charged performance through the song Ang Sakit Sakit, which will feature her signature style. It is heartfelt with the rawness of feelings.

The song is about the sadness one would feel because of betrayal. This talked about a painful realization of persuading to believe in that wonderful feeling, but in the end, someone else is already occupying your space in the heart of the person you love.

Ang Sakit Sakit is composed and produced by award-winning musician Vehnee Saturno. He was also the one who composed Jessa’s 2012 hit Nasaan. With this new song, they revived their creative partnership.

‘Ang Sakit Sakit’ is classic OPM heartbreak, brought to life with today’s sonic depth and emotional maturity,” Jessa said. She also said that this song reminds her of the pain in her hit song Bakit Pa? but in a much deeper.

In this song, Jessa’s daughter, Jayda Avanzado, was also featured. Jayda was involved as a vocal producer and backing vocalist. Her voice brought a fresh yet familiar tone to the song.

The singer-actress also shared her thoughts on having a reunion project with Vehnee Saturno.

Reuniting with Tito Vehnee felt like picking up a powerful conversation after years of silence. This song is for everyone who’s ever loved too hard — and been hurt even harder,” Jessa Zaragoza shared.
