The issue between Sofia and Chie started online when allegations surfaced that the former was the source of the rumor that the latter is being investigated by the family of Matthew Lhuillier. Chie called out Sofia for her alleged “evil acts” against her. A content creator surfaced, narrating how Sofia allegedly approached her to create rumors against Chie on TikTok.
According to social media influencer “KylieNotKaye,” Sofia messaged her asking her to create content attacking Chie Filomeno. The content creator did not accept the offer because she felt that it was shady, as she was asking Sofia to have a better view of the story she wanted to tell, and she was looking for receipts that would support the claim of the actress, but there were none.
In her defense, Sofia said that her TikTok was hacked, but Chie did not buy this, as well as KylieNotKaye.
Amid this issue, as of this writing, Sofia has not yet addressed the allegations against her. However, in her recent Instagram post, the Kapamilya actress shared her solo poster for the upcoming series The Alibi, featuring the tandem of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.
Her caption was apparently from his character. “You played the victim so well. But victims don’t ruin homes and call it destiny,” she wrote.
