Jinggoy Estrada reportedly filed complaints against these two personalities
Senator Jinggoy Estrada took legal action against former actor Robby Tarroza due to the “gay” allegation.
Estrada has been in the hot seat these past few weeks because he was accused of receiving kickbacks from anomalous flood control projects.
Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) engineer Brice Hernandez mentioned him and other politicians who allegedly received money from flood control projects that became ghost projects.
The actor-turned-politician denied the corruption allegation against him. He and his fellow Senator, Joel Villanueva, who was also accused of receiving kickbacks, said that they are willing to open their bank accounts.
Amid the corruption allegations against Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, he received another accusation. Former actor Robby Tarroza claimed that the senator is “bakla at sinungaling.”
Tarroza also claimed that the politician stole his boyfriend from him. Following that controversial post that the former actor shared, stories against Estrada circulated online.
Early this month, the lawmaker had already filed a perjury case against Brice Hernandez. Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, aside from Hernandez, the Senator also filed a case against Tarroza.
“Maging ang former actor na si Robby Tarroza ay sinampahan na rin ng reklamo ni Sen. Jinggoy. Hindi pa nga lang daw mai-serve ang demanda sa dating actor sa kasalukuyan dahil nasa Amerika ito ngayon,” entertainment writer Salve Asis shared.
It was also said that Sen. Jinggoy Estrada had already forgotten who Robby Tarroza was, so he was surprised by the allegations against him coming from the former actor.
Meanwhile, early this month, the Sandiganbayan denied the dismissal of the pork barrel case filed against Estrada. To recall, Estrada, Janet Lim-Napoles, and former senators Bong Revilla and Juan Ponce Enrile faced graft and corruption complaints regarding the pork barrel scam.
Estrada cited that the lack of merit of the case filed against him should be considered to dismiss the complaint. However, the Sandiganbayan denied his appeal.
