Coco Martin stressed that his aim is to make the movie scene in the Philippines alive again.

For him, the Philippine entertainment industry still has a lot to offer when it comes to culture and storytelling.

The actor-director highlighted that the Filipino culture is so rich and there are a lot of stories to tell, to be shared with the world. With this, he said that when he would do projects, they should be a showcase of the Filipino culture. He said that when a series became a hit, it is really a “gawang Pinoy.”
