Jona revealed this about Alden Richards
Asia’s Multiemedia Star Alden Richards waived his talent fee for the upcoming concert of Jona.
Jona, or Jonalyn Viray, started her singing career through GMA’s singing competition Pinoy Pop Superstar. From winning in that competition, she became part of the Sunday musical variety show of the Kapuso network, where she was able to work with Alden.
Even though Jona transferred to ABS-CBN, she and Alden continued to be friends. In a recent interview, the singer shared that the actor has been very supportive of her career.
Jona revealed that Alden Richards would always watch her show in small venues. Now that the singer is set to have her concert Jona Journey To The Arena, the actor really presented as he said that he should be part of the singer’s career milestone.
In a recent interview with Abante, Jona expressed how thankful for Alden’s support, ever since they worked together in GMA. Since she will be having her major concert, she asked Alden’s support, and the actor did not hesitate.
The singer even revealed that it made her so happy that Alden was the one who presented himself in the show. “Guest mo ako dyan ha, di ako pwedeng mawala dyan ha,” Jona shared what the actor said to her.
Then, entertainment reporter Rey Pumaloy enthused that Jona was able to save because Alden waived his talent fee. “Dahil mabait siyang kaibigan, yun lang po yung masasabi ko, very supportive po talaga siya,” Jona said.
The singer is also hopeful that she and Alden will record a song someday. Then, she attested to the actor’s humility even though he is now one of the biggest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Jona was also asked if Alden Richards would dance in her concert; her answer was, “Baka hindi po muna kasi walang bayad,” the singer said, and then laughed.
