Chavit Singson was asked about his love life
Businessman-politician Chavit Singson reacted to the rumors linking him to Kapuso actress Jillian Ward.
Chavit is one of the controversial political figures in the Philippines. Aside from being known for his wealth, Chavit is also known for being linked to some showbiz personalities.
Previously, Chavit and actress Yen Santos addressed the rumors that they had a child. The allegation about the businessman-politician and the actress has been around for quite a while already.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Chavit Singson was asked about his love life.
Blind items surfaced that appeared to be about Chavit and Jillian Ward, suggesting they have “something special.” It was alleged that they are really close, and some netizens believed the rumors.
When asked about this, the businessman-politician denied any romantic involvement between him and the Kapuso actress. However, he said that he was aware that there had been rumors linking him and Jillian.
“Marites lang yun, Marites lang. Naririnig ko nga yan. Marami ngang nali-link sa akin. Pero puro Marites yun,” Chavit said.
However, when asked if he and Yen really had a relationship, the answer that Chavit had to this was intriguing.
“Ang tanging naisagot niya ay, “Next question,'” he said, and he laughed. He also said that no more questions about women who are being linked to him. Previously, Chavit just denied that he and Yen had a child.
Meanwhile, Chavit Singson had a statement that went controversial during the September 21 rally. He said that protesters should call for the resignation of President Bongbong Marcos.
This was slammed by the Malacanang Palace, saying that Chavit had made a seditious remark. When he was asked about this, he refused to give a direct answer.
