Arron Villaflor had this post that went viral
Actor and Tarlac 2nd District board member Arron Villaflor explained his viral “Pray For Cebu” post.
Arron shared a post on his social media page following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that happened in Cebu on the night of September 30. This damaged homes, infrastructures, and roads. Because of this, many Cebuanos also lost their loved ones.
Many Cebuano celebrities expressed sympathy for the earthquake victims. They also offered prayers and encouraged the public to do the same.

Some celebrities took an effort to donate to the victims of the earthquake in Cebu, such as Kim Chiu, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Barbie Forteza, and Sofia Andres.
These celebrities received praise from netizens for sharing their blessings with other people, especially those who were in need.
Arron Villaflor also shared a post about the Cebu earthquake. The post featured an art card in which the actor-turned-politician was standing, and his hands were clasping in front of his chest, as if he was praying, and he was slightly looking up.
Arron received negative comments because of this. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the board member explained his viral post.
He shared that his social media team was behind the post, and he apologized for this. “First of all, gusto kong humingi ng pasensiya. I just want to apologize. It was a lapse from my social media team and I told them na, ‘Wala, nandito na tayo, let’s just learn from our mistakes,” the actor-politician said.

Arron also said that as a public servant, his intention was there, but how it was not was not what it should be. He once again apologized to all Filipinos.
Then, he jokingly said, “Natutuwa nga ako dahil kumalat siya nang maigi, ganun pa pala ako ka-relevant sa mundong ito, no?”
When asked if he was hurt by the comments that he received because of that post, the actor-politician said that he understands the reactions. For him, everyone has the right to express their opinions, raise an argument, and say what they want to say about the government.
“Sa gobyerno natin, kahit na nasa politics na rin ako, hindi natin masisisi yung mga tao dahil, I guess, naging outlet tayo ng kanilang anger, no, which is okay,” he said.
Arron Villaflor added that people have emotions and feelings, and for him, the old system in politics should have been changed already.
