Alexa Miro had this dramatic moment on ‘Sing Galing’
Actress Alexa Miro cried while performing the song “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin” on TV5’s Sing Galing.
Alexa went viral last month because of her social media livestream in which he talked about her ex-boyfriend for five years, who told her to hide their relationship.
Initially, the actress did not mention any name, but netizens were quick to conclude that it was Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos. Rumors linking them had been circulating for quite some time, but in past interviews, the actress had stressed that they were just friends.
Days after that livestream, Alexa Miro admitted in the interview that she was referring to Sandro Marcos. She said that she made that revelation to protect herself. In the same interview, Alexa admitted that she still loves Sandro.
In a recent episode of Sing Galing, Alexa’s performance Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin, popularized by the Pinoy band Rockstar, caught netizens’ attention. Hosts Donita Nose, K Brosas, and Randy Santiago started the song.
It can be seen that Alexa was already covering her face as she tried to hide her emotions. When she started singing, her emotions showed, and she was in tears. It can also be noticed that her hands were shaking. The judges were cheering her.
Meanwhile, Alexa Miro was reportedly replaced by actress Andrea Brillantes in the movie Rekonek. The film is one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025.
Last year, Alexa was part of MMFF’s entry Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital. The speculations about Alexa’s exclusion from the movie surfaced after the official cast members were introduced last July. Alexa was supposed to work with Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, and Gerald Anderson in this movie. This is under Reality MM Studios.
