Is it true that Matthew Lhuillier’s family did not like Chie Filomeno?
Actress Chie Filomeno was allegedly investigated by the family of businessman Matthew Lhuillier.
Rumor has it that Chie left actor Jake Cuenca to be with Matthew. This rumor was raised by social media personality Xian Gaza on his Facebook page. Allegedly, Jake was devastated after Chie left him for Matthew.
It was also alleged that Matthew had a girlfriend and that the latter’s girlfriend only found out about him and Chie through Xian’s post.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he shared that Chie Filomeno just told Jake Cuenca that she wanted space. The actress went to Cebu for the space she needed.
However, that took several months already. Since Matthews belongs to a wealthy clan, it was said that his family investigated the actress.
Ogie said that through this, Matthew’s family learned a thing about Chie, and what she was doing. Then, the talent manager-vloggers shared that there was one thing Matthew’s family discovered.
“Ayun na nga, parang hindi nila gusto para sa batang Lhuillier, itong si Chie,” Ogie shared. When Ogie’s co-host, Mama Loi, asked what the Lhuilliers found out, Ogie just whispered because he said that they can’t divulge it publicly.
The talent manager-vlogger and his co-hosts expressed that they were saddened by what happened to Jake.
Ogie Diaz also shared that Jake Cueca just knew about this from another person because Chie Filomeno did not tell him.
Following the rumors linking Chie to Matthew, the actress shared a photo on her Instagram page promoting the businessman’s beer company. As of this writing, Chie has not yet talked about her rumored relationship with Matthew. She and Jake had been together since 2023.
