Ogie Diaz called out Sen. Marcoleta
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz had this striking question to Senator Rodante Marcoleta regarding his push to have witness protection for Sarah and Curlee Discaya.
Ogie is just one of the celebrities who is vocal about his views and opinions regarding the social and political issues. More than the showbiz news, intrigues, and gossip, Ogie also takes part in spreading social awareness.
Through his social media platforms, the talent manager-vlogger would share his thoughts on certain issues or call out certain individuals, like what he did in his recent post.
Ogie Diaz shared a post on his Facebook page featuring a clip in which social media personality Jam Magno was criticizing Sen. Rodante Marcoleta.
Jam said that although she voted for Marcoleta, she is against his intention to put the Discaya couple under the witness protection program. Sarah and Curlee Discaya mentioned certain names during the Senate hearing on anomalous flood control projects.
The social media personality asked the Senator why he seemed to be protecting the Discayas when he is supposed to protect the people who voted for him. Then, Jam stressed that Marcoleta should have the same intensity against the Discayas as he did during the ABS-CBN issue when the network was accused of not paying its taxes. Eventually, the Kapamilya network was able to prove its innocence.
Ogie echoed Jam’s statement. “Senador Marcoleta, dapat kung gaano ka kagalit sa ABS-CBN noon kahit wala namang ninakaw na pera sa kaban ng bayan, dapat, mas galit na galit ka sa mga Discaya,” the talent manager-vlogger said.
Then, Ogie Diaz asked an intriging question to the Senator. “So ang tanong lang na madalas kong mabasa sa mga comment section: nagkabigayan ba?” he said, adding that only Marcoleta can answer this.
