Fans of Kathryn Bernardo bashed Kim Chiu
Netizens noticed that Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo used the song Aura by IV of Spades after the incident when It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu mispronounced the band’s name.
Kim has been hosting the Kapamilya noontime show for many years already. Her vibrant and energetic personality became a staple among the show’s avid viewers. She also has good chemistry with other hosts, which adds color to their banters.
Just like other hosts during live shows, Kim also had her funny, candid, and unexpected moments. However, sometimes, this could lead to issues and negative comments.
IV of Spades was one of the guests in one of the recent episodes of the show. When Kim Chiu mentioned the band’s name, instead of saying “Four of Spades,” she said, “I”, “V”.
Because of this, she received bashing online and her name became a trending topic, especially on X, formerly Twitter. However, Kim received support from her fans. The actress-host also explained her side.
She stressed that she really did not know the band and that people should focus on more pressing issues in the country now, instead of giving attention to her “honest mistake.”

This was shared on Reddit, and a screenshot was also shared showing Kathryn’s IG post. It was a brand partnership post, and it can be seen that she used the song by IV of Spades.
However, as of this writing, Kathryn’s post no longer had that song. On the other hand, a fan account said something about this. “Gag@ng Kathryn!!! Ang tawa ko BWAHAHAHA mapang-asar yern?” the fan posted on X.
