Elijah Canlas recently celebrated his birthday
Kapamilya actor Elijah Canlas revealed that he cried because of the birthday gift he received from his girlfriend, actress-host Miles Ocampo.
Elijah and Miles’s relationship continues to get stronger even though they went through a tough time. It is known to their fans that there was a time when they broke up, but they eventually got back together.
The actor recently celebrated his 25th birthday. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, he was asked what gift he received from his girlfriend.
Elijah Canlas shared that what Miles Ocampo made him emotional. That something is now special for him.
“Ang gift ni Miles sa akin which made me cry… She gave me an in-ear [earphones]. Kung alam niyo yung in-ear [yung ginagamit] for performances. She gave me an in-ear na kinustomize niya,” the actor said.
At first, Elijah said that he did not noticed that his initials were written on it. He shared that in the right ear “EC” was written and he was really thankful. Then, Miles told him to look even more. He saw that in the left ear, his tattoo was there. “It was my one and only tattoo dedicated to my late brother,” the actor shared.
Elijah’s brother JM Canlas passed away on August 4, 2023. The actor had a thumbs up tattoo on his right forearm to commemorate his brother’s favorite pose.
“So, naiyak ako kasi naisip ko na every time I’ll be performing, he’ll be listening, you know? He’ll be right with me,” he said. The actor mentioned how Miles was so thoughtful with that kind of gift, and he really appreciated it and loved it. Aside from being an actor, Elijah Canlas is also venturing into music.
When asked how he celebrated his birthday, the actor shared that they had “birthday salubong” while they were at the studio last August 15, as he finished the song in his upcoming album.
“So, inabot kami ng 2:00 A.M. Tapos birthday ko na. Di alam ng mga tao na birthday ko. Di ko sinabi. Parang focused lang kami sa music, ganoon,” he shared. Elijah also shared that Miles visited him at the studio and the actress surprised him.
