Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno fired back at her basher, who commented that she was like a “GRO.”

The actress celebrated her 29th birthday on August 15, and she shared her birthday post on her social media pages. One of the netizens who commented on her post said that she was like a “GRO.”
GRO means “Guest Relations Officer,” but in the Philippines, it can mean a different thing. This can be a demeaning term for women.
A netizen used this term to Chie, and she did not hesitate to have a fiery comeback, which amused other netizens.
In a recent Facebook post, Chie Filomeno shared a behind-the-scenes video of her photoshoot in which she was doing the Nicki Minaj pose on top of a huge cake while holding her birthday cake.
“Birthday squats [cake emoji],” the actress wrote in the caption of her post. Many netizens greeted her and commended her look.
However, there was a netizen who had a negative reaction. The netizen commented, “Pweh!!! Parang GRO n naghihintay ng matandang costumer…”
Chie had a fiery comeback to this. She mentioned the user name of the basher with a Visayan curse word, and she repeated the said word, but told the basher to enjoy her day.
“Jessabel Paroton Dip*ta Ka diP*TA KA, enjoy your day,” the actress replied, and this amused other netizens.
Meanwhile, in Chie Filomeno’s Instagram post, her boyfriend, actor Jake Cuenca, commented with fire emojis. Many celebrities also greeted the actress.
In a previous interview, Jake shared that as of now, he and Chie have not talked about getting into the next level of their relationship. They have no wedding plans yet. He said that he respects his girlfriend’s decision to focus on her career. The actor wants to support her.
