Esnyr Ranollo Clears the Air on Online Diagnosis and His Creative Process
ESNYR RANOLLO – Social media favorite Esnyr Ranollo recently opened up about an unusual online diagnosis connected to his popular characters.
Former “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate Esnyr recently revealed a lighthearted yet surprising story about being “diagnosed” online with multiple personality disorder. The Kapamilya actor and content creator shared the experience while talking about the wide range of characters he portrays in his YouTube and TikTok content.
Even before joining the entertainment industry, Esnyr had already gained significant popularity on social media through his funny and relatable skits inspired by school life. These comedic depictions of everyday student experiences earned him a loyal fan base.
His journey as a content creator also led to a close friendship with fellow housemate and “PBB” Big Winner Brent Manalo.
During an interview with broadcast journalist Karen Davila on her YouTube channel, the “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition” 3rd Big Placer was asked about the total number of characters he has developed.
“Sixteen po siya, actually. Actually puwede na akong magtayo ng isang buong barangay na puro characters ko po lahat,” Esnyr said with humor.
Karen then teasingly asked, “Hindi ka ba slightly psychotic?”
Laughing, Esnyr replied, “May nag-diagnose na po sa akin dati online na may multiple personality disorder daw ako. Wala po akong gano’ng background.”
Multiple personality disorder, now referred to as dissociative identity disorder (DID), is a psychological condition where an individual has two or more distinct identities that exist separately from one another.
Esnyr assured fans of his well-being. “I am healthy po. Just to clear things up. Healthy naman po ako as a person. Pero ayun po, I just want love portraying lang po talaga.”
Some of his most popular school series characters include “Precious,” “Ma’am Castro,” “Charlotte,” “Balong,” and “Andrei.” Each role brings a unique comedic flavor, blending satire, wit, and everyday humor.
For Esnyr, his diverse range of characters is purely a creative expression and a passion—showcasing his versatility as an artist rather than being a sign of any mental health condition.
