StarStruck alum Iwa Moto had this fierce statement against a netizen who belittled online sellers like her.
Iwa rose to fame as one of the contestants in the third season of the Kapuso talent search StarStruck. She finished the competition as first runner-up. After that, she was given a chance to be part of various shows in the Kapuso network.
When she became inactive in showbiz, Iwa focused on her family. She has been in a relationship with Pampi Lacson for many years now, and they were blessed with a daughter and a son.
Just like many celebrities, like Mariel Padilla and Matet de Leon, Iwa Moto also ventured into online selling.
In a recent online selling session, Iwa addressed the comments from netizens who look down on this way of earning money.
A netizen shared on Reddit, under PinoyVloggers, a video showing Iwa’s fierce statement against bashers. She stressed that while staying at home, she earns money through online selling and she can be with her family.
“So guys, huwag na huwag na huwag niyong maliitin ang mga online sellers,” she said. The former actress also stressed that they are working hard and doing their best, and online sellers like her do not hurt anyone. Iwa also pointed out that this is a decent job, unlike those who are engaging in scams.
Based on the caption of the netizen who posted this, Iwa received a comment from a “bastos” who asked her if her daughter is not being bullied in school because she is an online seller.
Iwa told the basher to back off, as she won’t allow this kind of thing on her platform. “Never underestimate any job, any job, mapa-janitor, kahit ano pa yan, p*nyeta ang mga nag-aano,” she said.
Iwa Moto also stressed that through online selling, she was able to send her children to prominent schools.
