Actress Ruffa Gutierrez had this reaction when she was introduced as “Rufa Mae” during a recent event.

However, in Philippine showbiz, Ruffa has the same name as comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto. In a recent event for a beauty clinic, the host mistakenly called her “Rufa Mae.”
Ruffa entered the venue, and the host said, “Of course, Miss Rufa Mae.” It can be seen in the video shared on Reddit under ChikaPH that Ruffa immediately looked at the host after saying the other person’s name.
The host abruptly corrected himself by saying, “Ruffa Gutierrez,” and then he apologized. Ruffa laughed, as well as other attendees, including GMA executive Annette Gozon-Valdes.
It can be heard that Ruffa said, “Nakakaloka” while smiling. The female tried to add lightness to what happened as she said that it was just an icebreaker.
Ruffa, after greeting other guests, jokingly said, “Palitan natin ang host.” After that, the male host correctly mentioned the actress’s name.
