Street Food, Laughter, and PBB Stories: Ivana Alawi’s Day Out w/ Brent & Mika
IVANA ALAWI – A simple craving for street food turned into a heartwarming reunion for Ivana, Brent, and Mika.
Ivana Alawi recently brought smiles to her viewers as she embarked on a lively food adventure in Quiapo with Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition grand winners Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca. Their cheerful reunion was filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a satisfying tour of some of Manila’s most popular street food offerings.
The actress and content creator revealed that the concept for the vlog came from her guests. “Pinatanong ko talaga sila [Mika and Brent] (kung) ano ang bet [nila]. Ang request nila (ay) street food. Napaka-simple nila,” she said.

Ivana Alawi admitted she initially questioned whether Brent was a fan of street food due to his “rich kid” vibe. However, Brent quickly proved her wrong, declaring, “Kinalakihan ko talaga ‘yan [street food]. Lahat kinakain ko talaga — balot, mga ganon.”
For Brent and Mika, it was their first time enjoying street snacks again since spending four months inside the iconic yellow house. One of their memorable stops was the famed hotdog sandwich with cheese from viral vendor Neneng B, known for her line “Ma, anong ulam?” They also feasted on grilled squid, tanghulu, dimsum, sweet corn, dynamite, and crispy fried bulaklak.
Mika expressed her appreciation for the day’s experience, calling it a rare opportunity to relax. “Alam mo buti nalang ito ‘yung vlog natin kasi hindi naman kami makakahanap ng time na gawin ‘to, tapos kasama ka pa,” she told Ivana.
As they savored their food, the PBB alumni reflected on their journey inside the house. Brent recalled, “Hindi (ko inexpect). Kami ang pinakamahina sa loob… So akala namin, ‘yun din ang nangyayari sa labas.” Meanwhile, Mika revealed she had been planning to return to the US if her PBB stint didn’t succeed, but now she intends to pursue music, which she described as her “end game.”
The two credited their fans for fueling their passion. “‘Yung mga taong sumusuporta sa amin… gusto naming magtrabaho lalo para sa kanila,” Mika said. Brent agreed, adding, “Sila ‘yung inspirasyon namin para mas magtrabaho nang mabuti.”
Their joyful get-together ended with the sold-out Big Collove fan event at the Big Dome last August 10.
