Manny Pacquiao Drops Hint on Possible Year-End Showdown

Manny Pacquiao Plans to Step Back in the Ring This December

MANNY PACQUIAO – After a romantic vacation in Italy, Manny Pacquiao is back home and gearing up for what could be his next big fight in December.

Manny Pacquiao is home once again after his much-discussed clash with Mario Barrios in Las Vegas, followed by a romantic vacation in Italy with his wife, Jinkee.

“Masaya, very exciting vacation,” the boxing icon shared as he recalled their visit to picturesque destinations such as Amalfi and Positano. For him, the most memorable moments were the simple ones — strolling along uphill streets and enjoying breathtaking views.

Looking back on his fight, Pacquiao expressed contentment with his performance, especially considering that he had only two months to train after a four-year break from professional boxing. He shared that his recovery was quick, regaining strength and energy just days after the intense 12-round battle.

“After the fight, three or four days later, nag-jogging na ako ulit,” he said, attributing it to his disciplined training regimen. “Focus lang talaga. No distractions. Even Sundays, I’d go to church then rest for the next day’s training.”

Though he ideally wanted a three-month training camp — particularly at his age — Pacquiao was grateful for the level of stamina he reached. “Satisfied ako sa condition ko, but not yet 100%. Yung speed, timing, more punches… kulang pa.”

Having reviewed the fight footage, Pacquiao said he was generally happy with the outcome. “Twelve rounds against a younger opponent — okay na yun,” he commented.

As for his next move, the eight-division champion hinted that fans won’t have to wait long before seeing him fight again. “This year. Mga December,” he revealed.

Pacquiao also spoke fondly about his return to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, a venue where he has fought more times than anyone else. Calling it “historic,” he said, “History din yun dahil ako pinakamarami ng fight sa MGM. Nag-isa, ako lang nag-isa.”

The night was made even more special with his family cheering from the stands. “Inspired ako. Complete family. Malakas sumigaw.”

Now back in Manila, Pacquiao plans to rest, enjoy a few rounds of golf, and continue jogging. Flaunting his toned physique, he emphasized the need for balance. “Relax muna. Pero training pa rin,” he said.
