Kyle Echarri Spills the Truth About His Bond W/ Piolo Pascual
KYLE ECHARRI – With rumors swirling, Kyle Echarri has addressed his relationship with Piolo Pascual, describing it as one founded on genuine brotherhood.
Kyle Echarri recently cleared up persistent rumors regarding his relationship with veteran actor Piolo Pascual, emphasizing that their connection is built on genuine friendship and brotherhood.
During a media interview held after the press conference for his upcoming movie 100 Awit Para Kay Stella in Quezon City, Echarri directly addressed the speculations, stating, “I never really have to answer what the people say. Mali iniisip ng mga tao. Kapatid ko ‘yan. He is a brother, a best friend of mine. Ano isipin ng tao, sa kanila na. Kami, alam namin magkapatid kami. We are best friends.”
The Senior High star also noted how influential Pascual has been in his personal and professional journey over the last two years. “I have been asked this so many times. I know who I am. Kapatid ko ‘yan. He is like a brother to me. He has been a mentor to me for the past two years,” he shared.
Their close relationship, according to Echarri, was formed during a particularly painful chapter in his life—the time he lost his sister. He opened up about how Pascual became a strong support system during that period, saying, “He came into my life at a very significant time when I was losing my sister. Ilan lang po nakaalam sa pinagdadaanan ko noon. One of the brothers that helped me out through the scenes na masakit at mahirap gawin dahil sa nangyari sa kapatid ko.”
Having previously collaborated on several projects, the two are reuniting for an upcoming action film where they will portray a father-son duo. Echarri teased fans about the long-anticipated movie, saying, “Malapit niyo na mapanuod. We have been talking about it for years—finally mapapanood na.”
When it comes to his personal life, Echarri said he’s not rushing into romantic relationships. “There is always time for love, pag feel mo. Sa ngayon, I am taking my time building a relationship with myself, inner peace, and loved ones around me. Hindi kailangan meron ako agad,” he explained.
His latest film, 100 Awit Para Kay Stella, is scheduled for release on September 10.
