“Simula this year, walang umaabot ng second date. ‘Yun na ‘yun,” Jennica disclosed, shedding light on her dating experiences. Her reason, she explained, lies in her commitment to seeking divine direction in matters of the heart.
“Kasi naranasan ko na po ‘yung love ni God… very clear ‘yung instruction ni Jesus na the man that I am going to be with is someone who is spiritually mature,” she added. This spiritual conviction has become a key factor in how she evaluates potential partners, even if they seem to have desirable qualities on the surface.
Jennica recalled meeting two seemingly ideal men—one a successful building owner in his late 30s, and the other a charming restaurateur. Both were never married and were established in their careers. However, when Jennica inquired about their faith and spiritual life, she sensed they were not aligned with her values. “To clarify, these men are great,” she emphasized. “It’s just that when I asked them how are their relationship with Christ, who is God for you, doon pa lang kasi alam ko na medyo ano na eh.”
Following her separation from actor Alwyn Uytingco, Jennica has dedicated herself to motherhood, personal development, and deepening her spiritual journey. The two continue to co-parent their daughters respectfully, maintaining a positive environment for their children despite living separate lives.
