Angel Locsin expressed openness to working with Joaquin Arce
Newbie showbiz personality Joaquin Arce shared his thoughts on the possibility of working with A-list actress Angel Locsin.
Joaquin is the son of businessman Neil Arce, who is Angel’s husband. This meant that the actress is Joaquin’s stepmom.
The young man is one of the new talents who signed under Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN. After Joaquin and his batchmates were introduced, Angel showed support for her stepson.
The A-list actress broke her social media hiatus for two years to congratulate Joaquin Arce. Angel Locsin also expressed that she could not wait to work with the young man in the future. This made Angel’s fans so happy as they have been waiting for her showbiz comeback.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Inquirer, Joaquin said that he did not expect that his stepmom would break her social media hiatus just to post something about him.
On the other hand, Joaquin said that he would like to prove himself first before having the chance to work with Angel. He aims to develop his abilities before that time comes. “What can I say about her working with me? Right now, I can’t say for sure whether we’ll have a project or not, but maybe, if I act well enough, I’ll get on her level,” Joaquin said.
For him, having that confidence would mean that he is ready to work alongside his stepmom. “Maybe someday, I’ll have the right to work with Ms. Angel. I need to prove myself first,” the showbiz newbie said.
Joaquin Arce also expressed that he was shocked by Angel Locsin’s social media post about him, but he was grateful for the support he received from her. He also shared that his stepmom watched his contract signing online.
