Carlos Siguion-Reyna praised Barbie Forteza
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza did a good job in her new movie P77, as what actor-director Carlos Siguion-Reyna said.
Barbie earned the Primetime Princess moniker because of how she showcased his acting caliber in the primetime series that she did. Blessings continue to come her way. Barbie had a big break when she portrayed Klay in the series Maria Clara at Ibarra, and this was followed by Pulang Araw.
Another big project was given to her. It was the psychological horror P77 under GMA Pictures. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Carlos had nothing but praise for Barbie.
Carlos played the character of a man who owns P77. This is where Barbie’s character, Luna, would accept the job.
The veteran actor-director enjoyed working with the Kapuso star. “I’m impressed by her. Ang sarap niyang katrabaho, you’re working with a professional actor talaga. Walang star attitude or anything,” Carlos Siguion-Reyna said about Barbie Forteza.
He also said that Barbie is impressive as an actor and as a professional. Talking about his character in the movie, Carlos said that it is interesting.
“Kaming dalawa ni Jackie [Lou Blanco], strangely, very welcoming sa character played by Barbie. We’re luring her in, sineseduce namin siya, ‘Pumasok ka dito sa penthouse na ‘to,‘” he shared.
P77 is directed by Derick Cabrido and written by Enrico Santos. This is based on an original concept by Anj Atienza and Kristian Julao.
Previously, Barbie Forteza shared that her inspiration behind her character Luna was an international movie that was recommended by her friend. Aside from this new movie, Barbie is also one of the lead stars of the Kapuso series Beauty Empire. This series also features Kyline Alcantara and Ruffa Gutierrez.
