Sharon Cuneta was reminded by his father about the value of humility
Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared the warning that she received from her father, the late Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta.
Sharon started young in the entertainment industry. From being a teen star, she became one of the most prominent actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry.
With her status as a Megastar in showbiz, she has done a lot of projects that proved her star quality.
Despite her success in the entertainment industry, Sharon Cuneta remained humble, and this is because of how she was reminded by her father.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the Megastar said that she was never addicted to fame.
“No. And I say that with all honesty because my parents would not allow it, she said. Sharon also said that at a young age, one can be swayed by all the false promises, but her parents were there to guide her.
Then, she shared that her father had a warning to her when it comes to staying humble. “My Dad always said, ‘Pag ‘yang ulo mo lumaki kaysa sa sumbrero mo pupugutan kita.’ Of course, you knew he wasn’t going to do it, but it meant so much,” she shared.
Aside from this warning, Sharon also shared that her father would always tell stories about his humble beginnings and that he also started from nothing.
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta recently received admiration for her fitness journey. She had a dramatic weight loss journey and her transformation amazed a lot of people. However, the singer-actress stressed that she did not use Ozempic.
Sharon stressed that she used the slow and steady approach when it comes to her weight loss journey. Her approach was more concentrated on her diet and food intake.
