Rica Peralejo was criticized for mentioning Heart Evangelista in her post
Celebrity vlogger Rica Peralejo received negative reactions from the fans of Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista.
Apparently, this started when Rica shared a post about “losyang” comments to mothers and they are being compared to celebrity mothers who are still active in their showbiz careers.
Rica pointed out in her post that people have different realities. She mentioned Heart and her nature of work now as a fashion influencer, aside from being an actress.
For her, the difficulties that showbiz personalities or celebrities go through are different from the struggles that people who are not in this industry go through.
Apparently, Rica Peralejo received negative reactions from fans. In a video, the former actress explained her post. She stressed that the accusation that she hates Heart Evangelista is not true.
Rica explained that she used Heart as an example and after receiving comments, she realized that some people might have taken it negatively, but it was not her intention. So, she decided to archive her post and share another post to make her point clearer.
Rica also stressed that she likes Heart and that she admires the fashion icon, who is a multi-faceted woman.
The former actress also said that when she mentioned, “hindi siya nahihirapan,” she meant that celebrities and common people have two different realities.
Rica stressed that she is aware of Heart’s struggles, as the Kapuso star has been vocal about this. “What I meant in my post was that she does not do a lot of things that common people do because her job calls her to preserve herself,” the former actress said.
As a former actress, back then, Rica said that she also avoided chores that would exhaust her physically because it would be evident on her face, which is one of the assets of everyone working in front of the camera.
Rica Peralejo also pointed out the comments accusing her of demeaning Heart Evangelista for being childless. She stressed that she even messaged Heart when she had her miscarriage because she understood the feeling, as she also went through the same experience.
