Jinkee Pacquiao Stays Thankful Despite Manny’s Controversial Draw Against Barrios
JINKEE PACQUIAO – Jinkee Pacquiao proved once again that grace and gratitude shine through even in defeat, as she expressed her thanks and faith following Manny Pacquiao’s latest boxing match.
Despite the disappointment surrounding Manny Pacquiao’s controversial draw against American boxer Mario Barrios, Jinkee Pacquiao remained full of gratitude and hope.
On Monday, July 21, Jinkee took to Instagram to express her unwavering faith and appreciation for the outpouring of support during her husband’s return to the ring. “God is good,” she declared, despite the outcome that saw the 46-year-old boxing icon fall short of reclaiming a championship title after coming out of retirement. The match took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“My heart is full, thanks to you all. I’m deeply grateful for all your love, prayers, and support,” Jinkee wrote in her post. The accompanying photos showed touching moments of Manny Pacquiao embracing his children following the match, alongside snapshots of the family together—Jimuel, Michael, Mary, Queenie, and Israel—and glimpses from the post-fight press conference.
Jinkee also shared behind-the-scenes moments from fight night in a separate post. “Fight night 🥊 2 Timothy 4:7,” she captioned the upload, once again adding the hashtag “God is good.”
Her post quickly garnered support from fellow celebrities and personalities, including Vina Morales, Melai Cantiveros, and veteran sports journalist Dyan Castillejo, who left messages of encouragement and admiration.
At the event, Jinkee turned heads in a stylish ensemble featuring a form-fitting purple top and a red mini skirt. Though she appeared visibly anxious at times, she remained composed and elegant throughout the fight.
The highly anticipated Pacquiao-Barrios bout ended in a majority draw, allowing the Texan boxer to retain his WBC welterweight title. Following the match, both fighters expressed a desire for a potential rematch, leaving fans hopeful for another thrilling showdown in the near future.
Though the victory slipped through Manny’s gloves this time, Jinkee’s words and faith served as a reminder of the strength and unity within the Pacquiao family—regardless of the scoreboard.
