Sharon Cuneta made this revelation about her concert abroad with Gabby Concepcion
Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she and her ex-husband actor Gabby Concepcion were just sweet on stage.
Sharon and Gabby reunited for a series of shows in the Philippines and abroad. This delighted the ShaGab fans who had been anticipating their reunion projects over the years.
It is known to many fans that for many years, Sharon and Gabby haven’t communicated or seen together, even though they have a daughter, KC Concepcion.
In a recent interview, based on the article, Sharon Cuneta shared that she has not talked to Gabby Concepcion since they finished their concert tour.
“I haven’t spoken to him since our concert tour last year,” the Megastar said. She was referring to their US & Canada Dear Heart concert tour in October and November last year.
Then, the actress-singer revealed a secret. She said that not many people knew about this. When she and Gabby did the whole concert tour abroad, on the day they left Manila, they had separate flights, and this happened throughout the tour, as they had separate car rides.
“The only time we were together traveling was on our flight back home from Vancouver,” Sharon shared, stressing that this is not for anything else but to keep it uncomplicated. She said that it was better that way.
However, Sharon stressed that she and Gabby are okay, but she can’t label them as friends. “We’re okay. You know, when you say friend,s kasi, it means keeping in touch constantly and checking up on each other. In that sense, we’re not. But we get along,” the actress-singer said.
Sharon also said that she and Gabby are older now and they have a daughter.“We were so sweet on stage but in reality, we only saw each other on stage, and when we did the sound check. We never spent time together in between the shows,” she revealed.
In the same interview, Sharon Cuneta was also asked about the current relationship status that she has with KC Concepcion. The Megastar said that even though there were misunderstandings between her and her daughter, she knows that KC is a good person.
The actress-singer also stressed that even though she raised a child, she could not expect that child to be exactly like her.
