Kyline Alcantara expressed gratitude to Barbie Forteza
Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara shared what her fellow actress Barbie Forteza did for her during the time when she was mending a broken heart.
It is known to many that Kyline went through a heartbreak because of her breakup with basketball player Kobe Paras. Their separation was quite controversial as Kobe’s mother former actress Jackie Forster released a statement video.
Jackie accused Kyline of being a toxic girlfriend and that Kobe could not stand that anymore because, allegedly, she was physically assaulting him. Amid the issue, Kyline remained silent.
In a recent interview, Kyline Alcantara said that it was her choice not to speak about the breakup because she still has respect for Kobe Paras.
Kyline also shared in a recent interview that while dealing with her heartbreak, her loved ones helped her move on, including her friends, and one of them was Barbie Forteza.
“Si Barbie talaga, iba po talaga siya. Maiiyak ako, kasi iba po talaga si Barbie. She just gave me my confidence back, she made me realize na, ‘Ikaw muna mare,’” Kyline shared.
That is why she said that every time she would say that she loves Barbie or her “mare,” this is true from her heart because her bond with her fellow Kapuso actress is more than just co-workers. “It’s really beyond that,” Kyline said about her Beauty Empire co-star.
Kyline also shared that Barbie was really there for her. During that chapter of her life, Kyline would barely eat because she was so down. However, Barbie would always call and visit her and would encourage her to eat.
“Gusto lang kita makita kumain. Pupunta ako diyan. Usap tayo,’ ganyan. So ako po ‘yung, du’n ko na-prove na iba talaga si Madam Barbie,” Kyline Alcantara said. She added that Barbie Forteza is really a friend and has a special place in her heart.
