The past rumored relationship of actress Cristine Reyes with veteran TV host Willie Revillame was recalled by netizens.
Cristine’s love life became a hot topic once again on social media when his photo with Gio started circulating online. Last month, it was rumored that she has a new love life a few months after her breakup with actor Marco Gumabao.
Eventually, it was identified that the new man in Cristine’s life is Gio Tingson, who happened to be the former National Youth Commission (NYC) chairperson and the Chief Political Officer of Senator Bam Aquino.
Just recently, Gio shared photos with Cristine Reyes on Instagram. This was shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens recalled the men who were linked to the actress.
A netizen mentioned that years ago, Cristine allegedly was so in love with “Willie R.” Other netizens asked if it was Willie Revillame and they apparently had no idea about this.
Some netizens pointed out that during Wowowee days, Cristine and Willie had a viral moment at ABS-CBN. In a 2008 article in PEP, Cristine was asked about the “habulan” that happened between her and Willie.
She said back then that Willie bit her and it was so painful, she ran after him. When asked about the real score between her and Willie, she said that they were okay and she did not want to rate what they had since people would think that they were already a couple.
Then, she was asked what name she could provide for what she and Willie had, the actress said, “Wala lang. Playmates? Yeah—joke!” Cristine Reyes also said at that time that she and Willie Revillame did not have a mutual understanding. “Hindi, friends lang talaga kami,” the actress stressed.
