Shuvee Etrata talked about her former co-star
Kapuso star and former PBB housemate Shuvee Etrata shared this story about steak with actress Ashley Ortega.
Shuvee’s popularity skyrocketed when she became one of the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. Many people supported her and wanted her to be the big winner with her partner Kapamilya singer Klarisse de Guzman.
Even though their duo did not win, more opportunities opened for them. They were featured in various interviews and TV shows.
Just recently, Shuvee Etrata guested on YouLOL’s Your Honor, hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar. During the interview, she was asked about her “date” with actress Ashley Ortega, the lead actress in the defunct Kapuso series Heart’s On Ice, in which Shuvee was one of the cast members.
Ashley also became one of the PBB’s housemates for this season. Shuvee shared that Ashley asked her to go to Rockwell and they would have dinner together.
With that, Shuvee was a bit hesitant because she had no money, but before the dinner, she had already texted her uncle in case she needed money.
“Pero artista man siya, siya kaya ang bida sa aming Hearts on Ice, respeto ko sa kaniya na makipagkaibigan. [Sabi ko], ‘Oh sige po, punta po tayo.’ Pero nag-chat ako sa tito ko, kailangan ko ng pera,” she said.
Shuvee revealed that their bill reached PhP7,000 because aside from steak, they also had pasta and wine. When the bill came, she pretended that she would pay for the bill, but in reality, she was not ready for it.
Ashley said that she would pay for it. From that, Shuvee and Ashley became close friends, and they have maintained their strong bond until now. They lived together in one house.
Shuvee Etrata also said quality is better than quantity when it comes to having friends in showbiz. She said that she only has four very close friends, but she is friends with a lot of people.
