Luis Manzano supports his mother’s new term as Batangas governor
Netizens reacted to the post that Kapamilya host Luis Manzano shared and which was about helping his mom, newly-elected Batangas Governor Vilma Santos.
Luis had his first attempt to enter politics in the 2025 elections. He ran as vice governor, the running mate of the Star For All Seasons. However, the TV host did not win.
After the elections, Luis opted to return to hosting. His game show Rainbow Rumble will have its new season. However, even though he did not win, the TV host will continue to serve the people of Batangas.
In his recent social media post, Luis Manzano shared photos taken when he and his mother, Governor Vilma Santos, had a meeting with the people working in the Capitol for their HEARTS program.
“Isang makabuluhang araw kasama si Gov. Vi, Kuya Lucky at mga taga kapitolyo. Tulad ng aming naipangako, ang Vi-Lucky ay maihahatid na ang #HEARTSProgram sa bawat distrito ng ating lalawigan!” the Kapamilya TV host wrote in the caption of his post. He also thanked their leaders and everyone who showed support for them.
Luis was referring to his and his mother’s program called HEARTS, which stands for Health, Education and Environment, Agriculture, Roads, Tourism and Technology, and Social Service and Security.
In the comment section of his post, Luis Manzano received support from netizens, especially those who are from Batangas. They were looking forward to what the mother-and-son tandem could do to their province. However, there were those who questioned what the TV host’s role would be in the Capitol since he did not win and Gov. Vilma has an elected vice governor. Here are some comments.
