Niña Jose Shares Emotional Journey Through High-Risk Pregnancy
ÑINA JOSE – Former actress Niña Jose has opened up about her high-risk pregnancy, describing it as both “a miracle” and “a wonderful blessing.”
Niña Jose, once known for her stint on Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006, is now making headlines for a deeply personal revelation. The former actress-turned-public servant, who made history as the first elected lady mayor of Bayambang, Pangasinan in 2022, recently shared some emotional news following her re-election this year.
During her oath-taking ceremony on June 30, Niña revealed that she is expecting a baby. At 36, and after facing numerous struggles with past pregnancies, the announcement came with heartfelt honesty and hope.

“Many of you may be wondering why you haven’t been seeing me around much these past few months. Today, I am happy to share with you a wonderful blessing. I, along with my husband, children, and family, have been blessed by God with a new member of our family,” she announced. Acknowledging the risks, she added, “But as some of you know, my pregnancies have been high-risk. The doctors had to monitor it closely to ensure that the baby and I are healthy.”
Niña’s journey into motherhood has been filled with both joy and sorrow. Married to businessman Cezar Quiambao since 2017, the couple have a son, Antonio. In a heartfelt post from 2021, she shared, “My biggest dream was to become a mother… it’s not easy, it’s the most challenging… but it’s the noblest and most fulfilling ‘profession’ of all♥︎.”
According to the report, the pain of losing her stillborn daughter, Hannah, in 2023 still lingers. She recalled the heartbreaking experience in a touching post, “I also wanted to die to be with them, I was mad at God but I am so grateful because no matter what I know He is always there.”
Despite these hardships, Niña remains resilient and full of gratitude. Her ongoing pregnancy is not only a personal victory but a symbol of renewed hope. “This journey… has given me an even greater sense of purpose to serve you better with a heart more grounded, more compassionate and more inspired by the gift of life itself.”
