Ice Seguerra dedicated this song to his mom
Singer Ice Seguerra had this emotional song performance for his mother, Mommy Caring, who passed away on June 27.
Ice’s mom has been very supportive of his career since he was first known as a child star until his teenage years. Mommy Caring remained a loving, understanding, and supportive mom to Ice even during his transition.
Ice shared the sad news with the public last week. He announced that Mommy Caring passed away. In his post, he highlighted how dedicated his mom was in taking care of him and the immense support he received from her.

At Mommy Caring’s wake at the Aeternitas Chapels & Columbarium in Quezon City last July 1, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Ice Seguerra performed his mother’s favorite song, “Everything I Own” by the American band Bread.
“Singing your favorite song. As a kid, my greatest fear was losing you. Akala ko kapag tumanda na ako, mas madali kong harapin ‘yon. Hindi pala,” the singer wrote in his Facebook post.

It can be seen in the video how Ice tried to keep himself composed while singing. However, his emotion was so evident.
The singer also said that he is saying goodbye to his mom, and he told himself that he would not sing, but deep in his heart, he knew that he would regret it if he did not do that for his mom, for the last time.
“Now, it has a whole different meaning for me. Every line captures how I see you and what I’m feeling. I would give everything I own…just to have you back again. I love you so much. For Always. I will miss you forever,” Ice added.
Last month, during Ice Seguerra’s sold-out “Videoke Hits” concert at the Music Museum in San Juan City, he had his heartfelt message for his mom. He thanked Mommy Caring for believing that he could sing, even though no one believed that before. It was an emotional moment between a mother and her child, and in front of concertgoers.
