Kaila Estrada learned a lot from ‘Incognito’
Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada hoped that their action-drama series Incognito will have its season 2.
Kaila has proven that she is more than just a nepo baby. Being the daughter of seasoned showbiz personalities Janice de Belen and John Estrada, it was inevitable that people would compare Kaila to her parents.
However, she was able to show that her acting caliber can bring her to places. Her acting projects boosted her career.
Her most recent project was Incognito, which showcased her caliber in the action genre. With the series finale, Kaila Estrada shared that she learned a lot from doing her first action series, based on the article in Bandera.
The actress said that it has been her dream to do this genre since she started her showbiz career. She learned a lot of skills, which made her feel that she had grown so much when they were training.
More than just learning from her character, Kaila said that she learned from the whole series and other characters. “I feel like it’s such a recurring theme in the show, especially when you watch the finale,” Kaila said.
The actress said that she learned to have a sense of duty, and it is about sacrificing something for the greater good, for something greater than herself. When asked what she learned from her character Max that she can apply to her life, Kaila said that it was about letting go.
“Because when you watch your journey, you see how much holding on to something is actually holding her back from moving forward, and once she let go of that, another door opened,” she said.
The actress added that when a door closes, surely another door will open. Kaila also shared that she has mixed emotions regarding the finale of their series. She’s sad the taping is already over, and it has not sunk in yet to her.
For her, it felt like they were just on break and they would eventually return to taping. However, she knows that once the episodes are over, she will no longer see her co-stars, and this might be the time she feels the sadness.
Kaila Estrada also said that she will miss their bonding, not just the cast, but the whole production team. Then, she hoped that this would not be the end. “Mami-miss ko yung taping namin. And mami-miss ko si Max. Sana may season two. Ha-hahaha!” the actress said.
