From Marco to Gio? Ogie Diaz Hints at Cristine Reyes’ New Relationship
CRISTINE REYES – According to Ogie Diaz, Cristine Reyes has started dating ex-NYC chairman Gio Tingson following her breakup with Marco Gumabao.
Actress Cristine Reyes has caught public attention after being seen spending time with Gio Tingson, the former head of the National Youth Commission (NYC). These encounters have fueled rumors that a romantic relationship might be developing between the two.
The buzz started when veteran entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz shared that Cristine may have already moved past her relationship with Marco Gumabao. “Lagi raw sila nagkikita… feeling ko naka-move on na si Cristine,” Ogie said, suggesting that Cristine and Gio have been meeting often.
Ogie also mentioned that Tingson played a behind-the-scenes role in the 2025 elections, serving as a strategist for Senator Bam Aquino. In contrast, Cristine publicly showed support for the re-election bid of Senator Imee Marcos, adding another layer of interest to her alleged connection with Gio.
Although Cristine and Marco have not made any public announcement regarding a breakup, fans began to suspect that something had changed when the two unfollowed each other on Instagram in April. Additionally, some of Marco’s photos have vanished from Cristine’s profile. Interestingly, Cristine’s photos still appear on Marco’s account, which may indicate that the two ended things on good terms.
According to Ogie, Marco has also been seen in Makati with actress Barbie Imperial. Still, he clarified there’s no romance involved, as they are simply close family friends. Barbie is currently being linked to actor Richard Gutierrez.
As both Cristine and Marco appear to be moving forward in their personal lives, many continue to speculate about their next steps. The rumored relationship between Cristine Reyes and Gio Tingson has yet to be confirmed, but it remains a hot topic in the entertainment scene.
