Carla Abellana aired her complaint against PrimeWater

Primewater released a statement regarding the viral post shared by Kapuso actress Carla Abellana about the water supply in their area.

Carla is just one of many celebrities who use social media to share updates and express thoughts on certain matters. With her popularity, it is easy for netizens’ attention to be caught by her social media posts.

Just recently, the actress aired her dismay about the service provided by Primewater. She shared a screenshot of the email she received from the company reminding her about her payment.

Carla Abellana replied, “Ok lang po. Halos wala din naman po kayo supply na tubog everyday, so parang ganun na din naman po. But anyway, here’s the payment.”

On Sunday, June 29, Primewater released a statement regarding this. The company said that it acknowledges Carla’s concern regarding her billing and water service in Tagatay.

Primewater also stressed that Carla’s account remained active, so it will still have a minimum consumption of one cubic meter. This was the reason why she received a bill with an amount of Php194, with Php20 for the meter maintenance charge.

The company said that their team visited the property and spoke with the caretaker to explain the concern and extend support.

PrimeWater has been conducting daily water deliveries to help ease the inconvenience of households affected by low to no water pressure areas,” it said. The company added that they are committed to improving the water system in Tagaytay and that their lines are always open for the concerns raised by the consumers.

To recall, many netizens have aired their concerns about the service provided by PrimeWater. One of them was talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz. Last May, President Bongbong Marcos ordered the investigation of PrimeWater, which is owned by Paolo Villar, the son of wealthy businessman Manny Villar.
