Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez performed at Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 Big Winner Fyang Smith‘s album launch.
Regine has been in the industry for four decades already. Her voice resonated with different generations, and her journey in showbiz became an inspiration to many younger singers.
The Asia’s Songbird graced the album launch of Fyang, which was held last Sunday at the New Frontier Theater. She received overwhelming support from her fans.

Based on the article in Abante, Fyang Smith’s dad went home from the States to witness this milestone in his daughter’s career. Fyang’s friends were also present. Fans enjoyed her performances of her songs from the Forever Fyang album.
The former PBB housemate had a duet performance with JM Ibarra. They sang Tayo Hanggang Dulo. She also had a performance with her fellow former PBB housemates Kai Montinola, Rain Celmar, Kolette Madelo, and Jarren Garcia.
The highlight of the event was the performance of Regine Velasquez. After that, the OPM icon shared her advice with the newbie singer.
“Singing is a new thing for you. Ang pagkanta is a skill, kung isasapuso mo at isasaisip mo ang pag-practice, puwede kang maging magaling na magaling na magaling na singer,” Regine said.

The seasoned singer also said that since Fyang was given this opportunity, as not everyone is given this kind of opportunity to record an album, to do a show, she needs to put in her mind and heart everything she does, so that she will always be happy. The newbie singer expressed gratitude to the OPM icon for gracing her album launch.
Meanwhile, in an interview last March, Regine Velasquez shared that she was already preparing for her retirement, but she was taking things slowly because she would definitely miss working.
