One of the most recent acting projects that she did was an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya about the tragedy that happened to the Maguad Family. This 2-part episode went viral.
Dimples Romana felt grateful to be part of this project and for the Maguad couple for allowing them to honor the memory of their children, Gwen and Boyboy, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
“It reminded us that even when you give so much, it can still be taken from you. Sabi nga ni Mrs. Maguad, they may have taken their children, but not their humanity. When you have a kind heart, anything is possible,” she said.
Dimples also shared her thoughts on her secret to her showbiz success. ”I guess there’s really no secret. The secret is just being present. To always show up for people. It doesn’t matter if you know them or not,” she said.
She also highlighted the importance of being kind and remembering the people who helped her. “I acknowledge the people who do good to me, and even those who hurt me. In life, when you acknowledge blessings—even if they don’t come as they seem—you develop a heart that’s grateful for all that’s coming your way,” she said.
Then, she also reacted to being called Pambansang Kumare. Dimples Romana said that it is because many people can relate to her. She always treats people equally, whatever their status.
Dimples had a recent milestone in her career. She was named as one of Mega Prime Foods’ celebrity ambassadors. The actress expressed gratitude for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
