Ynez Veneracion reacted to comments about her face
Actress Ynez Veneracion said that because of people’s comments about her looks, she became a trending topic once again.
Ynez has been in the entertainment industry for many years already. She was first known as a sultry actress, but she was able to transition into a serious actress. Ynez was part of the Kapuso series Mga Batang Riles.

Many netizens talked about Ynez Veneracion’s face, especially her character art card as Dolor. Some commented that the actress was almost unrecognizable, while some took notice of her face and said that she seemed like she had a candy inside her mouth.
Ynez did not take it as something negative. For her, it was a good thing that she became a trending topic again. “Sabi ko nga, dahil dito sa Batang Riles, at least nag-trending ako! Yung iba nga diyan, ‘Paano ba ako mag-trending?’ Dyusko, dumudugo na utak nila paano sila mag-trending. At least, hindi natin sinasadya,” the actress said.
The actress admitted that she went under the knife and she’s aware of the bashing she received because of her “retoke.” She wondered why it was still a big deal for many people if someone enhanced his or her look.
Ynez also pointed out that a lot of celebrities have already done this, and she even joked that she could name those celebrities.
Then, the actress said that the camera is not just friendly to her. She shared that there was a time when they had a motorcade, and she would hear people saying that she looked better in person and that the camera was not doing justice to her face.

For her, it is okay when people tell her that she does not look beautiful on camera, but in person, she is like a “dyosa.” “Mas gusto ko yun talaga, ‘Day!” the actress enthused.
