Dennis Trillo talked about his upcoming series
Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo said that as much as possible, he wants to do his own stunts in the series Sanggang Dikit FR.
Dennis has done various projects. His acting caliber became an inspiration to many younger stars. For his recent project, he is doing an action series with his wife, Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Dennis and Jennylyn had their gun handling and safety, and firing training to prepare for their roles.
Dennis Trillo said that viewers will surely expect action-packed scenes. “Kakaibang aksyon ‘to dahil literal na maraming pasabog, barilan, at maraming mga eksena na siguro ‘di n’yo pa nakikita na ginawa naming mag-asawa at first time n’yo makikita sa programa na ‘to,” he said.
The actor is also hands-on when it comes to doing his own stunts. As much as possible, he does not want to have a stunt double.
Dennis shared that every taping, he had fight scenes, and he would often have cuts and bruises, as it was inevitable for him to be carried away. “At siyempre gusto mong pagandahin ‘yung mga eksena at siyempre ‘yung ibang stunts, gust mo ikaw na lang ang gumawa,” the actor said.
The Kapuso actor is also assisting his wife in doing action scenes. Dennis Trillo shared that Jennylyn Mercado became more active, so he had to assist so that their scenes would be realistic. He was also making sure of his wife’s safety.
Dennis also shared that aside from the action scenes, people can also relate to the story, which is about social issues. The actor promised that people could expect that they would tackle interesting cases that would be resolved and have a connection to the lives of the characters.
