Xian Lim’s Sky-High Success: Actor Earns Commercial Pilot License W/ Pride
XIAN LIM – Actor Xian Lim proudly reached a new milestone as he officially became a licensed commercial pilot.
Xian Lim, known for his diverse talents in acting and directing, has added another impressive achievement to his name—he is now a certified commercial pilot. He shared this thrilling milestone with his fans on Instagram, expressing a mix of joy, amazement, and gratitude, calling his aviation journey nothing short of “life-changing.”
“CPL! Commercial Pilot License!” Xian wrote. “I still can’t believe it. Ang bilis ng mga pangyayari. This journey has truly been life-changing and I’m filled with gratitude. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa bilis ng mga pangyayari.”
Lim completed his training at Top Flight Academy, where he developed his skills as a pilot. He thanked the academy and its dedicated mentors for guiding him through the rigorous process of earning his license.
”To my Top Flight Academy family, thank you for believing in me and pushing me beyond what I thought was possible. Everything happened so fast, pero you were there to guide me every moment, every step of the way!”
Among those he acknowledged was Capt. Chiclet Pecson, his main flight instructor, whom he credited for encouraging him through every lesson.
“To Capt. @chiclet.pecson, thank you for your endless patience and dedication in guiding me sa flights. Every new maneuver, ’di ko talaga akalain na kakayanin ko pero you always pushed me na kakayanin. Susuka pero di susuko. Repetition, repetition, Repetition! Aerobatic maneuvers next! Lezzzgo!”
He also appreciated Capt. Sahl Onglatco and the rest of the academy’s teaching staff for consistently uplifting their students during difficult times.
“To Capt. @sahl.onglatco and all our flight instructors, maraming salamat na you always keep us, students, motivated. There is always something to look forward to. Even when things get rough, you make sure we keep the fire burning.”
Xian also showed his appreciation for his fellow trainees, especially his “wingmans” and “Indian friends from Nepal,” for offering encouragement during setbacks.
“To my flymates… the wingmans and my Indian friends from Nepal, salamat ng marami for being there through every challenging maneuver…”
Amused by his own enthusiasm, he added, “Bakit ba ang haba ng caption? Lol. Masaya lang. Kakatapos lang ng checkride… CPL: Coffee Powered License. Waley.”
He concluded his post with an uplifting message about believing in your dreams:
“Let this be a reminder… that nothing is impossible if you have the heart, the passion, and the right people around you… This is only the beginning. Let’s keep flying.”
