Daniel Padilla received a warm welcome from the people of Marawi
Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla thanked the people of Marawi for the kindness he received from them.
Daniel is currently part of the Kapamilya primetime series Incognito. This became his showbiz return after taking a break. He took his short hiatus after his breakup with Asia’s Superstar, Kathryn Bernardo.
The series had a shooting in Marawi, and Daniel was amazed by the warm welcome that they received. Based on the article in ABS-CBN, the actor expressed gratitude.
“Araw-araw, hindi kami iniwan. 100 percent support. Talagang sinupportahan kami. May dinner break, lunch break, binibigyan kami ng pagkain,” Daniel Padilla said.
He added, “Gusto ko magpasalamat sa kapatid nating Muslim.” Daniel also mentioned that he was inspired by the resilience of the community.
He said that Marawi had a sad past or history, but the people there are rising up, and they are rebuilding with love. “Iyon pinakamagandang bahagi doon. Unti-unti, gumaganda na Marawi,” he said.
Daniel also talked about the bonding he has with his co-stars as the series is nearing its finale. The actor shared that their shoots were really difficult, but they enjoyed sharing laughter with each other.
Daniel Padilla also shared that he hopes to have more action projects in the future to improve his skills in this genre. He enjoys what he is doing right now.
For now, the actor said that he wants to stay in the action genre. Aside from his acting career, Daniel is also giving focus to his business ventures. He said that this is part of his preparation as he started building for his future. The Kapamilya actor said that he is not getting any younger, and with this, he needs to be wise.
