Priscilla Meirelles has moved on from a difficult chapter in her life
Actress-model Priscilla Meirelles said that she hoped other women could learn from her experience in life.
Priscilla took a break from the entertainment industry for several years. Just recently, she signed a contract with Viva Artist Agency for her showbiz comeback. This took place after her controversial breakup with actor John Estrada.
During the contract signing event, Priscilla was asked if she was open to working with her estranged husband.
The actress-model said that she has no problem with this but she stated a specific scenario that she wanted to do. Priscilla Meirelles said that she wanted to do a scene in which she would slap John Estrada.
Based on the article in Bandera, Priscilla also said that if ever she had a project with her estranged husband, she would not want to have a kissing scene with him. “I am in a place, there is still a lot of hurt but I choose to be happy. It is a choice. As long as not a kissing scene, I am okay. Balik ako sa nightmare ko. Kapatid tayo,” she said.
She also said the anger that she felt for John was already history and it already burst out on social media. Priscilla added that it is not a secret to anyone that John has always been the way he is. “When things exploded, decisions were already made,” she said.
The actress-model stressed that she would not want to stay in a situation where she’s not happy. Two years ago, Priscilla said that she was already at peace.
“Being isang nanay, babae, I wanted to teach my daughter right. I did not want to normalize what is wrong in society,” she stressed, adding in a society that men can do as they please and women have to be quiet because men are the ones paying the bills.
Priscilla Meirelles also said that she hoped her experience would be a lesson to other women.
“I do not want to be one of the women who say it is okay because it is not. I kind of started or ignited other women who were also being treated unfairly to advocate for themselves,” the actress-model said
