Jimmy Santos Becomes a Street Food Vendor for a Day
JIMMY SANTOS – Fans were delighted to see Jimmy Santos interact with locals while trying his hand at street food selling.
Veteran comedian and former “Eat Bulaga” host Jimmy Santos recently tried something new that touched the hearts of many—spending a day selling street food in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija. This experience comes shortly after his return to the Philippines in April, following a visit to Canada.
In a vlog uploaded to his YouTube channel on May 29, Santos can be seen happily running a small street food stall in what appears to be a local marketplace. He didn’t just serve food; he also cooked and interacted warmly with customers, showcasing his trademark charm and humor.

Santos reflected on the challenges faced by vendors, noting the physically demanding nature of the job. “This job is hard for vendors because they work under the heat of the sun and even under the pouring rain. They need to be patient to earn money,” he said.
“This type of work requires patience. You have to be strong and healthy to be able to do this,” he added. He emphasized that such work requires strength and resilience.
Toward the end of the vlog, he introduced the owner of the stall and commended the hard work and perseverance of street vendors. His experience highlighted the often unnoticed efforts of everyday Filipinos making a living through small businesses.

This latest vlog comes after Santos clarified that his trip to Canada was only to visit his grandchild, not a permanent move. He is now living alone in Pampanga.
Back in 2023, he gained attention online for another vlog where he was seen collecting and recycling bottles and cans in Canada—a simple yet powerful message that resonated with viewers.
Through his vlogs, Jimmy Santos continues to connect with audiences by embracing ordinary life with authenticity, humor, and deep respect for hardworking individuals.
