In a post that ChikaPH shared on Reddit, the complaint affidavit of Nikki Benitez accused her husband of violating Section 5 of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
Nikki stated as a wife, it is her right to expect fidelity and devotion from her partner as she is also observing this in their marriage.
The complainant also said that she already heard rumors that Albee, the respondent, had committed infidelity but back then, she had no proof. After Nikki received the Petition for Declaration of Nullity of Marriage filed by Albee, he admitted that he “fathered two illegitimate children.”
