Speculations surfaced that Albee Benitez is the father of the child of Andrea del Rosario
Actress Andrea del Rosario was dragged into the issue between Bacolod City representative Albee Benitez and his estranged wife Nikki Benitez.
A copy of the complaint affidavit filed by Nikki surfaced on social media. She accused her estranged husband of violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 or the RA 9262.
In her complaint, Nikki shared that Albee admitted his infidelity when he filed a petition to nullify their marriage. She claimed that her estranged husband fathered two illegitimate children.
Aside from this, Nikki Benitez said that Albee Benitez impliedly admitted his current relationship with actress Ivana Alawi.
Prior to this, there had been rumors linking Albee and Ivana, especially when they were spotted together at the airport. However, in a statement, Ivana denied her romantic connection to the businessman politician.
After Nikki’s complaint affidavit surfaced online, netizens recalled what Andrea del Rosario said in an interview 9 months ago. In the interview, which was shared on an online showbiz site, the actress said that she was somehow blaming herself for the medical condition of her daughter.
Andrea’s daughter Bea has a rare congenital disease. This was the reason why the actress took a crash course in nursing. She wanted to take care of her child. Amid the struggles, Andrea admitted that she felt it was “karma.”
“So I had all these questions. I was blaming myself. As a mother, you can’t help but blame yourself,” Andrea said in that past interview.
In the same interview, she was asked about the father of her daughter, the actress just said, “He’s around” but she did not want to talk about him anymore.
With this, netizens speculated that her daughter’s father is Albee Benitez because of what Nikki Benitez mentioned in her complaint affidavit.
