Bea Binene will return to doing teleserye
Actress Bea Binene talked about her comeback series Totoy Bato on TV5 or the Kapatid network.
Bea rose to fame after joining the Kapuso kiddie talent search StarStruck Kids. From that, she became a Kapuso star and did various projects as a child actress.
She continued her acting career in GMA until she became a teenager. However, a few years ago, she was not able to renew her contract with the Kapuso network. Even though that happened, Bea said that she would always be grateful to GMA.
Now, she is handled by Viva Artist Agency and she is the lead star in the Kapatid series Totoy Bato with actor Kiko Estrada.
In an interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Bea Binene said that there is her first series since she signed under Viva. “I was with my home network before (GMA Network) for 18 years. I grew up acting in teleseryes and I think my last series was pre-pandemic. So, this is my first time to do a series in a while,” the actress said.
Although she is excited about this new project, Bea admitted that the environment is new for her. For the longest time, she has been doing series under her former home network and now, she is in an “unfamiliar territory.”
However, she said that she is inspired and excited. Bea also said that she is wishing for the best and expecting positive results. “All work is a blessing. And if the schedule and story are OK, (I’ll accept it). For me, every project is not just about what the viewers see; there’s a lot going on behind the camera,” she said.
Bea Binene is happy and thankful also to Viva for giving this opportunity for her and for her, this is a blessing.
Bea has previously shared the same frame with Kiko in projects like “Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts,” and “Mulawin vs. Ravena,” in the Kapuso network. They were also together in the movie “Will You Be My Ex?”
The actress said that it has always been an honor for her to work with Kiko. Bea said that her leading man is very focused on his work, as well as active and open as a co-star.
