Shaira Diaz is the current leading lady of Ruru Madrid
Kapuso actress-host Shaira Diaz received praise from her leading man action star Ruru Madrid in the primetime series Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila.
Shaira has been in the industry for many years already. She has done various acting and hosting projects already. Currently, she is part of the Kapuso action series. Aside from her acting project, she is also one of the hosts of the Kapuso morning show Unang Hirit.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Ruru has nothing but praise for her leading lady.
Ruru Madrid admitted that it was hard doing an action series and he admired Shaira Diaz for doing a great job in portraying his role.
“Hindi po madali ang gumawa ng aksiyon na teleserye. At bukod po diyan, nakita naman po natin itong mga huling episodes, talagang binuhos na ni Elsie ang drama sa lahat ng mga eksena niya. Binugbog, inuntog ni Ivan, lahat-lahat, nilagyan ng kanin at menudo sa mukha. Pero ito po ‘yung magsisilbing panibagong lakas po sa amin,” the actor said.
Aside from Shaira, Ruru also praised his other co-stars, such as child stars Sienna Stevens at Nathaniel Enaje who played their children in the series.
The actor said that the child stars are very talented and sweet. He said that the sincerity of Sienna and Nathaniel can really be felt in every scene. Ruru added that these young stars are not just there to play around but their love for what they were doing was really visible.
Meanwhile, Ruru Madrid said that viewers can still expect more exciting happenings in the series. He said that there will be more revelations to come in the next episodes and viewers can see more villain and their identities will be revealed.
