Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado will have a new series
Kapuso couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado underwent gun handling and safety lessons for their upcoming action series Sanggang Dikit FR.
Dennis and Jennylyn are set to have their reunion project. Over the years, they have done various projects that boosted their acting careers and brought them to where they are now in the entertainment industry.
This year, they are set to share the same frame again with a new project under their home network and it is an action series. Because of this, they needed to prepare before doing their action scenes and stunts.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Jennyly Mercado admitted that she has a fear of handling a gun. Because of this, her husband Dennis Trillo was assisting her.
Aside from being prepared, Jennylyn is also excited about the action-packed scenes, especially since she will be doing this with her husband.
“Syempre, importante ‘yung training para makabisado namin ‘yung paghawak ng baril, tamang posture, tamang form, ‘yung mga parts din ng baril, kinakabisado namin,” the Ultimate Star said.
Dennis also trained for this and they were joined by other cast members such as Joross Gamboa, Allen Dizon, John Vic De Guzman, and Jess Martinez. The Kapuso couple said that they needed to train in how to handle a gun properly because, in the series, they played the characters of policemen.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado said that there is no more jealousy between them. They passed that stage in their relationship a long time ago. The Kapuso couple also said that they are not fond of sharing cryptic posts on social media if ever a conflict happens, which is somehow common to other celebrity couples.
